Sessions include 75 minutes of bodywork. Please allow up to 90 minutes for intake and post-session time. 2-hour sessions are available for returning clients.

To simplify the booking process, there are two appointment options:

1. ‘Bodywork Session’: This is a customized session that may include and blend any of the services below, including craniosacral therapy. Please use the intake form upon booking to request any specific modality preferences.

2. ‘Craniosacral Therapy Session’: For those wanting to dive deeper into nervous system support and focus on craniosacral therapy alone. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.

Services

Craniosacral Therapy

A light-touch modality that works with the craniosacral system to support nervous system function. Read more about craniosacral therapy here. Expect a gentle, relaxing session with longer periods of stillness. Craniosacral therapy may be chosen as a standalone modality, or can be incorporated into a customized bodywork session.

Therapeutic Massage

Incorporates swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release massage techniques to address muscular pain and support relaxation. Benefits include: circulatory support, boost immunity, release fascial restrictions, relax and lengthen tight muscles, and relieve chronic and acute pain.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a form of bodywork that originated in Japan, and is part of traditional East Asian Medicine. Shiatsu utilizes acupressure to support, activate, and balance energy pathways, (meridians) in the body. By stimulating specific points and energy lines, clients can experience optimized health, relief of pain, and deep relaxation. Traditionally, Shiatsu is performed as a set sequence to ensure all meridians are addressed.

Gua Sha Therapy

Gua Sha is an East Asian Medicine modality which utilizes a smooth tool, often made out of metal or stone. A scraping technique uses pressure and friction to help break up connective tissue adhesions, increase circulation, and move out metabolic waste. Expect to have some petechiae, or discoloration on the skin, in the areas that were scraped.  This often looks like red or purple dots and typically fades within a week.

Cupping

Cupping is an East Asian Medicine modality which utilizes negative pressure, or suction, to hydrate and release connective tissue adhesions and support blood and lymphatic circulation. Expect to have some discoloration on the skin, called petechiae, in the areas that were cupped. This often looks like red or purple dots and typically fades within a week.

Prenatal and Postpartum Massage

Nurturing bodywork for all stages of pregnancy and the months and years postpartum. Massage can help to reduce stress, improve circulation, relieve pain, regulate sleep, prepare for calm birthing, and ease the transition into parenthood. Please book as a regular bodywork session, just be sure to note your pregnancy in the intake form.

Pricing

In an effort to promote accessibility and encourage a system of community support, I offer a sliding scale pricing model.

75-minute sessions are valued at $125. I do not accept gratuities. If you would like to offer something extra, I wholeheartedly appreciate reviews on google. These mean so much to small businesses.

Cash or check is preferred whenever possible. I also accept payments via card, venmo, and zelle.

Services can be paid for upon booking, before the session, or after the session. To prepay online when booking, choose “Add a Pay What You Want Amount” and input your sliding scale choice.

I am open to alternative currency (bartering/trade), please contact me pre-session if this is something you are interested in.
